A letter from the CEO
I've spent my career building marketing technology from the inside — starting with Bizible, which Marketo acquired in 2018, then running product through Marketo's own $4.7B acquisition by Adobe.
By the end of that run, I could see where marketing platforms were breaking: rigid campaign builders, data trapped in silos, no real link between what customers were doing in the product and what marketing sent them next. So in 2021, I started Inflection with Dave Rigotti and Vic Davis — people I'd worked alongside through all of it. We built the platform we wished we'd had: marketing automation native to the modern data stack, where product usage, customer behavior, and revenue actually talk to each other.
That's why I think we're well placed to talk about what's next. We're now witnessing a shift as big as the one I lived through then — from the internet era to the AI era. Here's how I see it playing out, and what it means for CMOs.
